The side lines of said strip of land are prolonged or shortened to terminate on said west line <br />of Tract A and said west line of the east 33.00 feet of Tract A. <br />EXCEPTION 3: That part of Tract A lying southerly of the southerly boundary of <br />Exception 2. <br />-or upon recording - <br />Lots 1-9, Block 1 (inclusive) and Lots 1-16, Block 2 (inclusive) BROOKFIELD 8TH <br />ADDITION <br />(the `Subject Property'); <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a sketch plan for Brookfield 8th Addition from <br />Brookfield Land LLC on June 14, 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan on July 21, 2016; and; <br />WHEREAS, on October 6, 2016, the Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public <br />hearing regarding the proposed preliminary plat; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Environmental Policy Board (EPB) considered tree preservation, <br />landscape plan, and potential wetland impacts pertaining to the preliminary plat on September 19, <br />2016; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 25, 2016, the City Council reviewed the preliminary plat; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 27, 2017, the City of Ramsey received an application and final <br />plat plans for Brookfield 8th Addition from Capstone Homes; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 27, 2017, the City of Ramsey received an application and plans <br />for the vacation of an existing trail easement and the vacation of an existing drainage and utility <br />easement located on the subject property; and <br />WHEREAS, Brookfield 8th Addition was a continuation of the Brookfield Addition; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 28, 2017, the City Council conducted a public hearing <br />regarding the proposed easement vacations; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 28, 2017, the City Council reviewed the final plat and easement <br />vacation applications and tabled action on the requests until the contingencies regarding the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment and the watermain loop cost -share were resolved; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 21, 2017, the Public Works Committee reviewed the request for <br />the City's participation in a cost share to complete a looping of the watermain to 166th Ave NW; <br />and <br />RESOLUTION #17-05-111 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
