determined that the stop sign was originally placed by the contractor. The placement of a single <br />stop sign at this intersection is problematic. Staff presented traffic counts for the intersection. It <br />was staff's recommendation that a stop sign be placed going west bound. <br /> <br />Bill Wirth, 7884 182nd Avenue NW, Ramsey, stated that he watches people going south on <br />Armstrong and see the stop sign and think they have a through street and go straight through. As <br />traffic picks-up he is concerned it is going to be a real problem. He requested that an additional <br />stop sign be placed at the intersection. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to recommend to the City <br />Council that a stop sign be placed going westbound at the intersection of Riverdale Boulevard <br />and Armstrong Boulevard. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Zimmerman, Councilmembers Elvig, and Cook. <br />Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />1) Water Fill Station <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler explained that the Public Works Department w as <br />nearing the completion of the water fill station so they will no longer need to require water <br />permits for large amount of water.
