Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at 9:57 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Kociscak, to recommend that City <br />Council approve the proposed preliminary plat for Sunfish Gateway contingent upon compliance <br />with City Staff Review Letter dated May 31, 2002. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Kociscak, Brauer, and Reeve. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson, Sweet, and Watson. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik suggested Case #5 be moved to the next item, and <br />Case #4 be moved to the last item. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Kociscak to move Case #5 to Case #4, <br />and move Case #4 to Case #7, renumbering the rest accordingly. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Kociscak, Brauer, and Reeve. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson, Sweet, and Watson. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request for Sketch Plan Approval of Longfield Lot Split; Case of Robert & <br />Kim Longfield <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Kociscak to table this item until the <br />July Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Kociscak, Brauer, and Reeve. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson, Sweet, and Watson. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review of T.J. & Associates Printing; Case of Sharp <br />and Associates, L.L.C. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that the City received an application from Sharp <br />and Associates, L.L.C. for the development of T.J. & Associates Printing. They are proposing to <br />locate on Lot 3, Block 1, of Sunfish Gateway. The development of the lot will be contingent <br />upon final plat approval of Sunfish Gateway. The site plan is proposing to construct a 2-story, <br />18,886 square foot priming facility. The site plan complies with the from yard, rear yard, and <br />side yard setbacks established in the Industrial District.
