Case #6 - Licenses for Approval; <br /> <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />This item was tabled and action was taken on October 28, 1981. <br /> <br />Case #7 - Rubber Matting for Warmin8 House Floor: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that there have been problems in anchoring the used con- <br />veyor belts to the warming house floor. We have money in the budget and <br />eventually we will have to go to interlocking mats. <br /> <br />Cooncilmember Reimann stated that the use of glue or staples to anchor the <br />used conveyor belts could be used. We should make use of these recycled <br />products to save money. <br /> <br />The Council consensus is to have Street Superintendent Mevissen locate <br />more sources to obtain belting from. <br /> <br />Mayor Camec authorized Councilmember Reimann to contact Dennis Donovan of <br />the Park and Recreation Commission to resolve this matter. <br /> <br />Case #8 - L__egal regarding the following issues: Bison Street and Notice <br /> <br />of Intent to Appeal Special Assessment Project #81-14: <br /> <br />No action was taken by Council. This item is to be placed on the next <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Case #9 - Plan Review Regarding Altron, Inc.: <br /> <br />Mr. A1 Phillips (property owner) and Glenn Burnett (Volp Construction) <br />were present at the meeting. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle presented copies of Building Official Berg's <br />letter dated October 26, 1981 regarding this matter. <br /> <br />Mr. A1 Phillips stated there would be no problem relocating the driveway <br />if necessary but it does reduce the amount of access off Industrial Blvd. <br />There is $10,000 allocated in the bid for landscaping. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated it should be documented that the municipality <br />is clear of the driveway problem. <br /> <br />Building Official Berg stated that this parcel has been recently platted. <br />The record is in the County office. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />grant a variance from the subdivision ordinance to Altron, Inc., and that <br />any future subdivision of that property is subject to City approval or no <br />building permits will be granted. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
