I
I
I
I
I

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

Chairman Peterson - Stated that this is not a unique situation and City
treats each case individually and either approves or disapproves. Inquired
as to what hours Mrs. Andreason intended to deliver pizza.

Ms. Andreason - Stated'she was looking at something like 10 P.M. week nights
and 2:00 or 3:00 A.M. Friday and Saturday; nights.

Mrs. Schneider - Business based in the home means higher taxes and this
would serve as a deterrent to many people running a business from their
ho~os.

Mr. Fenneck - 5500 164th Lane N.W. I support Ms. Andreason in her
venture with the conditions mentioned.

Dale Howe 5431 164th Lane N.W. - Inquired if there would be any more
vehicles involved other than the two trailers and 3 cars now parked on
the Andreason property. Is there any possibility of their land being
zoned commercial to build a restaurant? I feel the Andreason's show a
great respect for the neighborhood by going through all the legal channels
with their request. I have no opposition to their venture on a six month
trial basis.

Mr. Deemer - t'tighly improbable that their land could be re-zoned commercial.
The Andreason's do not want an advertisement sign, but if they did, the
largest that would be approved is two square feet.

Mr. Dunn - Inquired as to the odors involved in preparing pizza and if
the Andreason's have tr4ed getting into a commercial building.

Ms. Andreason There is no special filtering system on the trailer to
take care of odors. Have looked for commercial property in the area and
either there is no space or the cost is prohibitive.

Mr. West What about sewer?

Ms. Andreason - We carry water to trailer in buckets and dispose of waste
into our own septic system.

Chairman Peterson closed public hearing at 8:07 P.M.

Respectfully submitted,

Sylvia Frolik
Council Secretary

Lloyd G. Schnelle
City Administrator/Clerk

P & Z/November 3, 1981
Public Hearing
Page 2
