MEMO <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />Building Official <br /> <br />Purchase of Updated Building Codes <br /> <br />April 23, 1982 <br /> <br />We have received notice from I.C.B.O. that the revised ~.B.C. will be available <br />May 1, 1982. The State of Minnesota has not yet adopted this but should be doing <br />so in the near future. To update our text, it will be necessary to purchase the <br />following: <br /> <br />1) 1982 U.BoC. <br />2) 1982 State Building Code <br />3) Current Electrical Code <br />4) Current Plumbing Code <br />5) Current Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Code <br /> <br />City Ordinance states that three copies of these documents will be on file at the <br />City. However, we have never maintained more than two and it would be my opinion <br />that, other than the U.B.C., we only maintain one copy. <br /> <br />Therefore, please accept this as my request to purchase two copies of the 1982 <br />U.B.C. and one copy each of the other documents as listed above as these become <br />available and are adopted by the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />These would be purchased from the State-of Minnesota Document Section or frc~ <br />I.C.B.O. depending upon availability, at a cost of approximately $150 to $200. <br /> <br />This item is included in the 1982 budget. <br />CRB.~po <br /> <br /> <br />
