Page 6' <br />Council Meeting <br />September 11, 1978 <br /> <br />STATE BANK OF ANOKA - 90 DAY EXTENSION <br /> <br />The State Bank of Anoka obtained a 90 day permit to place a trailer on <br />the premises of 5909 - 167th Avenue N.W, '(location of new Ramsey State <br />Bank) on April 10, 1978. The permit expired on ~July 10, 1978 and Mro <br />Steven Schmidt, President of State Bank of Anoka, was asking for an ex~ <br />tension of this permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Muller to table <br />the request by State Bank of Anoka until the September 25, 1978 meeting. <br />until Council has had a chance to contact Mr. Steven Schmidt, President <br />of the State Bank of Anoka and discuss the matter with him. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR MOVING HOUSES INTO RAMSEY; CASE OF TOM HOLKER <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Holker was present to discuss with the Council his request to <br />move four houses into Ramsey. Mayor Cox read a report submitted by the <br />Building Official, Clayton Berg on his inspection of these homes. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated in his report the buildings are from the upper floors <br />from military barricks and are very well constructed. Mr. Holker in- <br />tends to strip the interior, and exterior of all the structures. Three <br />of the structures are 28 x 42 or 1176 s~uare feet and the fourth is <br />28 x 32~of 896 square feet. The fourth does not meet the square footage <br />required by the City Ordinance and Mr. Holker does intend to add to <br />this structure so it complies with the ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Muller and-seconded by Councilman~Mickelson to grant <br />Mr. Holker his request to move these four houses .into Ramsey and obtain <br />a building permit for each and-no certificate of-occupancy will be issued <br />until each meets the State and Local Building Codes. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />HIGH POINT ADDITION - REGARDING BLACKTOPPING OF STREETS <br /> <br />Mr. Holker was requesting the blacktopping of streets in ths High Point <br />Addition be deferred until the addition is either 2/3 or 3/4.developed~ <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated they could enter into a development contract <br />and the details of this be presented at the September 25~ 1978 council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR SECOND FIRE WARDEN - MIKE HALLER <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Haller was present to discuss his request and ask'for'apProval <br />of a second fire warden for the issuance of burni.ng permits as he can%t <br />handle it all by himself~ He presented the name of Mr~ Tom Patullo~ <br /> <br /> <br />
