The public hearing closed at 8:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at 8:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated that he would like to get the results of the traffic generation analysis <br />before they move forward, as well as resolve the access to highway #10 and the berm. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald noted that the Park Supervisor has indicated that the City has spent a lot <br />of time and money on the berm and it is their intention to keep it a more natural berm, not a <br />manicured berm. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson inquired as to whom the neighbors should be expressing concerns to <br />regarding the berm. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald replied that they should be contacting the Parks Department. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson stated that it seemed as if there could be something done that would keep <br />th~' berm looking natural, but have it look appealing. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated that he would like the landscaping plan to include the additional trees <br />and shrubs, the units be minimized to meet the City recommended street requirements, and make <br />sure that the development complies with the density transition ordinance. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald noted that the development will have no problem complying with the <br />density transition ordinance. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt inquired if staff had any concerns on utility and drainage issues and City <br />Engineer Jankowski replied no. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Reeve, to table action to allow for <br />more discussions. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Reeve, Brauer, Johnson, and <br />Koc. iscak. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Watson. <br /> <br />Case/t3: Request for a Site Plan Review of Rivenwick 3ra Addition; Case of Turtle <br /> Moon, Inc. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated that the City received an application from Turtle Moon Inc. for <br />site., plan review of a townhome development. The property is generally located south of <br />"Riverdale Drive and north of the existing Rivenwick urban residential development.
