Ms. Frolik wondered if they should add a finding regarding the Co~rnnission's concern about <br />potential impact of absentee homeowner in a residential neighborhood. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer thought this could be added as item 21. "Lack of the owner occupancy <br />requirement may be detrimental to the character of the 'eXisting neighborhood." And Number 24, <br />"will not". <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd, to recol-nrnend that City <br />Council adopt findings of fact to support denial of the request. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Cmmnissioners Brauer, Shepherd and Watson. VOting No: <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson and Commissioner Jeffrey. ' . <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson called the public hearing to order at 8:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community .Development Director Frolik stated since the adoption of' the 2001 Comprehensive <br />Plan, the City has taken the steps necessary to implement the Plan by amending the Subdivision <br />and Zoning Chapter of City Code. As is genei-atly the dase when working with new ordinances, <br />corrections and housekeeping items begin to show up. Staff has been compiling a 'parking lot <br />list' of housekeeping items that need to be corrected or clarified.
