TO: Ci.ty Administrator

FROM: Building Official

RE: Monthly Report

DATE: March 18, 1980

There were three permits issued for the past month with no houses. With
the current interest rates new housing has all but been eliminated,

Since Arlene Peddycoart left I have been' spending a considerable amount
of time in Planning. The information required by ordinance for site plan
reviews, conditional use permits, etc. is far more time consuming than I
had anticipated.

On Friday, ~rch 13, 1980, I met with an architect to review the possible
finishing of the lower levels at City Hall. He will be presenting us with
a total package of what his charges would be to complete this work,

On Friday, March 21, 1980, I will be attending a one day school on revisions
in the 1979 Code which should be adopted by the State shortly, The fee
schedule for 1979 is increased approximately 50% over 1976~ I feel we
should consider an increase in our sewer and plumbing permits for adoption
at the same time.

Per~dts issued, mileage and.~inspections are as follows:

Permits Issued

Permit Fee Valuation Surcharge

A. Con~ercial 2 $311.00 $92,000.00 $46.00
B. Misc. 1 20.00 2,000,00 1,00
C. Plumbing 1 14.00
D.
