Absent: Chairperson Nixt and <br />Commissioner Van Scoy. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Public Hearing to Consider Ordinance to Amend R-l Residential District <br />Regulations; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at <br />8: 12 p.m. in order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearinl! <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson called the public hearing to order at 8:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated since the adoption of the 2001 Comprehensive <br />Plan, the City has taken the steps necessary to implement the Plan by amending the Subdivision <br />and Zoning Chapter of City Code. As is generally the case when working with new ordinances, <br />corrections and housekeeping items begin to show up. Staff has been compiling a 'parking lot <br />list' of housekeeping items that need to be corrected or clarified. Enclosed for your information <br />is an edited copy of the R-l Residential section that identifies proposed additions and deletions <br />that Staff has determined are necessary. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik discussed the staff report with the Commission. <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval ofthe proposed amendments to the R-l Residential District. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Jeffrey, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
