<br />The public hearing closed at 7:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to <br />order at 7:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Jeffrey, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact relating to a request from Bruce V olk for an interim use permit <br />for outdoor storage as a secondary principal use at 14165 Ramsey Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Jeffrey, Brauer, <br />Shepherd, and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioner Van Scoy <br /> <br />Case #4: Public Hearing - Request for an Interim Use Permit to Allow for the <br />Operation of a Church in the E-l Employment District; Case of St. Katharine Drexel <br />Catholic Community. <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at <br />7:25 p.m. in order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearinl! <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johnson called the public hearing to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon stated that the City received an <br />application for an Interim Use Permit from the St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Community to <br />allow for the operation of temporary church facility in an area zoned E-l Employment District. <br />The temporary church facility will be in a multi-tenant building located at 6930 McKinley St. <br />(Business Park 95 4111 Addition). The Applicant would like to be able to utilize the space for <br />offices and hold Mass as well as provide for other services from the building. <br /> <br />The Applicant is proposing to utilize 13,440 square feet of the building located at 6930 <br />McKinley St. The Applicant is proposing to remodel the warehouse to have a worship area as <br /> <br />Planning Commission/October 7, 2004 <br />Page 5 of 15 <br />
