16. Turf Establishment <br />The Contractor shall reestablish turf with hydroseed and hydromulch in all disturbed areas. The <br />seed mix and application rates shown in the plans shall be used. <br />17. Basis of Payment <br />Payment shall be made for the work on the basis specified below. The cost of any additional labor <br />materials, tool and supplies which have not been specifically identified in this section for payment, <br />but required to complete the project as per the plans and specifications shall be considered <br />incidental to the project. <br />1. Mobilization — Payment shall be made on a lump sum basis for the mobilization of equipment. <br />2. Clearing and Grubbing Tree — Payment shall be made on a per acre basis as compensation for <br />all equipment, material, and labor costs required for the removal and disposal of trees and <br />stumps located by area for removal per the plans. <br />3. Remove Watermain — Payment shall be made on a per lineal foot basis as compensation for all <br />equipment, material, and labor costs required for the removal and disposal of watermain. <br />4. Remove Bituminous Pavement — Payment shall be made on a per square yard basis as <br />compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required for the removal and disposal <br />of bituminous pavement. <br />5. Saw Cutting Pavement — Payment shall be made on a per lineal foot basis as compensation for <br />all equipment, material, and labor costs required to saw cut pavement per class of material as <br />marked in the field. <br />6. Salvage Concrete Pipe, Storm — Payment shall be made on a per lineal foot basis as <br />compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required for salvage and installation <br />of concrete storm sewer pipe. <br />7. Salvage Gate Valve and Box — Payment shall be made on a per each basis as compensation for <br />all equipment, material, and labor costs required for salvage and installation of gate valve and <br />box based upon size. <br />8. Salvage Hydrant — Payment shall be made on a per each basis as compensation for all <br />equipment, material, and labor costs required for salvage of hydrant. <br />9. Salvage Pipe Apron — Payment shall be made on a per each basis as compensation for all <br />equipment, material, and labor costs required for salvage and installation of pipe apron. <br />SP 5 <br />
