10. Common Excavation — Payment shall be made on a per cubic yard basis as compensation for <br />all equipment, material, and labor costs required for the excavation, loading, removal, <br />transport, placement and disposal of on -site borrow material as directed by the Engineer. The <br />limits for quantity determinations will not extend beyond the authorized grading sections as <br />staked, except as authorized prior to the work by the Engineer. <br />11. Granular Borrow — Payment shall be made on a per cubic yard basis as compensation for all <br />equipment, material, and labor costs required for the excavation, transport, and placement of <br />granular borrow material at a location directed by the Engineer. <br />12. Dewatering — Payment shall be made on a lump sum basis as compensation for all equipment, <br />material, and labor costs required for the installation and maintenance of any dewatering <br />measures. <br />13. Furnish and Install Aggregate Base Class 5 — Payment shall be made on a per cubic yard basis <br />as compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required for the loading, <br />transportation, placement, and compaction of aggregate base. Aggregate base from the City <br />stockpile located at the City Public Works campus, 14210 Jaspar Street, shall be used. The <br />Contractor shall furnish a loader and operator to load and haul from the stockpile. <br />14. Furnish and Install PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe — Payment shall be made on a per lineal foot <br />basis as compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required for the installation <br />of PVC sanitary sewer pipe based upon size. <br />15. Furnish and Install PCV Sanitary Sewer Pipe Plug — Payment shall be made on a per each <br />basis as compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required for the installation <br />of PVC sanitary sewer pipe plug based upon size. <br />16. Connect to Existing Sanitary Sewer Manhole — Payment shall be made on a per each basis as <br />compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required to connect to the existing <br />sanitary sewer manhole. <br />17. Clean and Video Tape Pipe Sewer — Payment shall be made on a per lineal foot basis as <br />compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required to clean and video tape the <br />sanitary sewer pipe. A copy of the video shall be supplied to the City. <br />18. Furnish and Install Gate Valve and Box — Payment shall be made on a per each basis as <br />compensation for all equipment, material, and labor costs required for installing gate valves <br />and box based upon size. <br />19. Furnish Hydrant — Payment shall be made on a per each basis as compensation for all <br />equipment, material, and labor costs required for furnishing hydrants. <br />SP 6 <br />
