Payment for rearrangement of in -place facilities or vertical offset of proposed facilities shall be <br />made under specially named items at the appropriate Contract prices per unit of measure and <br />shall be compensation in full for all costs of performing the work as specified. <br />All costs of excavating to foundation grade, preparing the foundation, placing and compacting <br />backfill materials, restoring surface improvements, and other work necessary for prosecution <br />and completion of the work as specified, shall be included for payment as part of the pipe and <br />pipe appurtenance items without any direct compensation being made therefore, unless specific <br />pay items are included on the Proposal. <br />Watermain connections shall be paid per each connection to new watermain. All necessary <br />labor, materials, and work required to make the connection shall be included in the price per <br />each as provided in the bid proposal. <br />Installation of tracer wire for thermoplastic and other non-conductive pipe materials shall be <br />considered incidental with no direct compensation made thereto, except where noted otherwise <br />Page 38 <br />
