product included with this bid/proposal), and a minimum of 100,000 lineal feet of <br />cured -in -place lining, diameters up to and including twenty-four inches (24") installed <br />under his/her supervision. Such experience shall include the actual product, by trade <br />name, Contractor proposes to install. Acceptable documentation of these minimum <br />installations must be submitted to the Engineer. <br />c. Sewer rehabilitation products submitted for approval must provide Third Party Test <br />Results supporting the long term performance and structural strength of the product <br />and such data shall be satisfactory to the Engineer. Test samples shall be prepared <br />so as to simulate installation methods and trauma of the product. No product will be <br />approved without independent third party testing verification. <br />2631.2 CIPPS MATERIALS <br />A General <br />All materials required for this work shall be new material conforming to requirements of the <br />referenced specifications for the class, kind, type, size, grade, and other details indicated in the <br />Contract. Unless otherwise indicated, all required materials shall be furnished by the Contractor. <br />If any options are provided for, as to type, grade, or design of the material, the choice shall be <br />limited as may be stipulated in the Plans, Specifications, or Special Provisions. <br />All manufactured products shall conform in detail to such standard design drawings as may be <br />referenced or furnished in the Plans. Otherwise, the Owner may require advance approval of <br />material suppliers, product design, or other unspecified details as it deems desirable for <br />maintaining adopted standards. <br />All materials shipped to the project site shall be accompanied by test reports certifying that the <br />material conforms to the ASTM standards listed herein. Materials shall be shipped, stored, and <br />handled in a manner consistent with written recommendations of the CIPP manufacturer to <br />avoid damage. Damage includes but is not limited to, gouging, abrasion, flattening, cutting, <br />puncturing, and ultra -violet (UV) degradation. All damaged materials shall be promptly removed <br />from the project site at no cost to the Owner. On site material storage locations shall be <br />approved by the Engineer. <br />Al CIPPS Fabric Tube <br />The CIPPS fabric "Tube" shall consist of one or more layers of absorbent non -woven felt fabric, <br />felt/fiberglass or fiberglass and meet the requirements of ASTM F 1216, ASTM F 1743, ASTM D <br />5813 & ASTM F2019. The fabric Tube shall be capable of absorbing and carrying resins, <br />manufactured to withstand installation pressures and curing temperatures, have sufficient <br />strength to bridge missing pipe segments, and stretch to fit irregular pipe sections. <br />The fabric Tubes shall have a uniform thickness that when compressed at installation pressures <br />will equal the specified nominal tube thickness. <br />The wet -out fabric tube shall have a uniform thickness and excess resin distribution that when <br />compressed at installation pressures will meet or exceed the design thickness after cure. <br />The fabric tube shall be manufactured to a size and length that when installed will tightly fit the <br />internal circumference and length of the original pipe.
