Motion to recommend that the City Council direct staff to install warning lights in front of Fire <br />Station No. 1. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />2) Update on neighborhood meeting with Welcome's road residents <br />This was discussed under Case #7. <br />3) Update on school walking zones and plowing issues <br />Public Works Director Kapler reported he and Chief Way met with the principal who is very <br />pleased with the service provided for the two mile walking radius. He discussed additional <br />streets and they will keep an open line of communication as needs come up throughout the year. <br />4) Update on County Road closures <br />City Engineer Jankowski reported the contractor has completed the placement of the sanitary <br />sewer under CR 57, however, there are still some turn lanes that need to be placed at 153ra Lane. <br />Another two or three weeks is anticipated. <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson indicated the county is generally not supportive of a <br />temporary stop sign southbound on Sunfish Lake Boulevard due to concern of a precedent being <br />set. <br />Reviewed by: <br />Assistant Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer <br />City Engineer <br />CC: 11/09/04 <br />
