The plat is proposing to gain access through a private access off of Ramsey Blvd. Staff <br />has received written comments from Anoka County that indicate this access is acceptable. <br />One of the conditions of Anoka County's approval is that the corner property also utilizes <br />this access, should it redevelop in the future. The revised preliminary plat shows a larger <br />outlot that includes the new access, and the applicant has indicated his willingness to <br />dedicate this outlot to the City. Staff feels this is sufficient to meet the terms of the <br />County's approval. <br />Recommendation: <br />At their August 5, 2004 meeting the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />request for preliminary plat approval, with several conditions. The revised preliminary <br />plat meets these conditions, along with those raised at the October 12, 2004 Council <br />meeting.
