ORDINANCE #04- <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br />AN ORDINANCE, AMENDING SECTION 9.02 (DEFINITIONS) AND SECTION 9.20.11 <br />(R-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) OF THE CITY CODE. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br />9.02 (Definitions) shall be amended to include the following definition: <br />Fence, ornamental — a fence not greater than six (6) feet in height that is <br />constructed from aluminum, wrought iron or steel, with pickets no greater than two (2) inches in <br />width and no less than four (4) inches apart. Vertical support posts shall not exceed six (6) <br />inches in width and shall be spaced a minimum of four (4) feet apart. Horizontal framing <br />crosspieces shall not exceed three (3) inches in width. No other material shall obstruct visibility <br />through the fence. Chainlink fences are specifically excluded from this definition. <br />9.20.11 R-1 Residential District <br />Subd. 2.d shall be amended to read as follows: <br />d. Single Family/Townhome units as part of a PUD located within the 2020 <br />MUSA. PUD's shall be designed in accordance with R-2 Rsidential <br />performance standards established in Section 9.20.12. <br />Subd. 3 shall be amended to read as follows: <br />Subd. 3 Uses Permitted by Conditional Use Permit: <br />a. Religious Institutions <br />b. Commercial Horseboarding <br />C. Private Dog Kennels <br />d. Commercial Dog Kennels <br />C. Oversizing of accessory structure size <br />f. Cemeteries <br />g. Essential Services <br />h. Cell towers in Tower Overlay District <br />i. Commercial garden nurseries or greenhouses with buildings <br />
