Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to authorize the <br /> attached model homes for Vistas at North Commons. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Shryock, Johns, <br /> Kuzma, Riley, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br /> 7.03: Consider Stone Brook Children's Academy; Multiple Actions <br /> Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama reviewed the staff report and <br /> the six recommendations included within the proposed resolution. He noted that items one <br /> through five are administrative in nature and are consistent with the past approvals. He <br /> explained that with this resolution, the City is simply formalizing said actions. He stated that <br /> item six has been reviewed by the EDA and CMDC and both have recommended approval. <br /> Councilmember Riley stated that the EDA did recommend approval of the revolving loan fund. <br /> He stated that while the EDA does not operate as a bank, there is a banker on the EDA and an <br /> analysis was also done by CMDC. <br /> Councilmember Kuzma asked for information on the process to move forward for construction. <br /> Jeff Benedict, Vanguard Construction, estimated that construction would begin in about two to <br /> three weeks and would span about 4.5 months. <br /> Mike Mulrooney, CMDC, provided a summary of his memorandum that was included in the <br /> Council packet. He stated that this project stands every chance of success with the community <br /> and how the community is changing for the future. He noted that the project is still awaiting <br /> SBA approval. <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau hoped that the SBA finds this project to be as great as it has been <br /> presented to be. He noted that he is very excited to see this project move forward as it will be <br /> another great business in the community. <br /> Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to Adopt <br /> Resolution #17-08-200 Authorizing the City of Ramsey to Sell 0.85 Acres of City Owned Land, <br /> Authorize a Right-of-Entry Agreement, Authorize a Right-of-Re-Entry Agreement, Authorize a <br /> Cost-Share Arrangement for Yolite Street, Authorize a Purchase Agreement Amendment, and <br /> Authorize a $100,000 EDA Loan for the Proposed Stone Brook Children's Academy and <br /> Childcare Center. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Johns, Kuzma, <br /> Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br /> 8.
