Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #17-02-048 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE RESILIENT <br />COMMUNITIES PROGRAM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA. <br />WHEREAS, the City of is seeking assistance to complete initiatives of the Strategic <br />Plan, Comprehensive Plan, and associated work plans for the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the University of Minnesota's Resilient Communities Program provides an <br />opportunity for students to assist and provide resources to community projects, including those <br />included in many of the City's goals and initiatives. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes Staff to submit an application to the <br />Resilient Communities Program. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of February 2017. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
