Case #10: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Vacate Easement in Ramsey Town Center Addition; <br />Case of Ramsey Town Center LLC <br /> <br />Community Devclopment Director Frolik advised this ordinance to vacate the drainage and <br />utility easement over Outlot I, Ramsey Town Center Addition was introduced July 27, 2004. The <br />final plat was approved on October 12, 2004. The final adoption of the easement vacation <br />ordinance was tabled on October 12 and 26 because the City had not received a written <br />commitment fi'om Ramsey Town Center, LLC accepting responsibility for additional storm <br />sewer costs resulting from vacating the existing easement. The City has now received a <br />commitmcnt regarding the additional storm sewer costs, and the ordinance is ready for adoption <br />at this time. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Ordinance #04- <br />10-44 to vacate the drainage and utility easements contained on Outlot I, Ramsey Town Center <br />Addition. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayo r G a m cc: aye <br />Counci hnember Cook: aye <br />Councilmelnber Elvig: aye <br />Counci hnember Kurak: aye <br />Councilmember Pearson: aye <br />Counci hncmber Strommen: aye <br />Councihnember Zimmerman: absent <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Adlninistrator Norman indicated RTC has requested a single item meeting with the Council <br />for the allocation agreement between Ramsey Town Center and the City on Tuesday, November <br />16"~. Assistant Public Works Director suggested the meeting be scheduled at 7:30 p.m. following <br />the Public Works Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Amending the Business Registration Ordinance; Case of <br />City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Police Chief Way reviewed that on October 26th the Council introduced an ordinance amending <br />Section 7.20 (Business Registration Certificate) of the City Code. Staff worked with the City <br />Attorney to provide a consistent format and grammer throughout the ordinance. The ordinance is <br />now ready for adoption. <br /> <br />Cot, ncihnember Elvig indicated he has received two calls on this concerning people that have <br />been required to purchase a license to do business in the City, and are also required to pay <br />another $15 fee.
