Motion by Councihnernber Cook, seconded by Councilmernber Elvig, .to adopt Resolution #04- 10-315 awarding the contract for Improvement Project #04-30 Bridge Nb. 02569 Rhinestone Street to Redstone Construction in the amount of $999,279:30. 'Further Discussion: Councih'nember Kurak stated it is' important to note that the assessments are strictly within Town Center and not on the general public.' Assistant Public Works Director Olson responded that is correct. Councilmember Elvig noted the assessment is at 20 percent and comes fi:om RTC. The other monies will come from MSA funds. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, .Pearson, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Motion by Councihnember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to direct staff to award the contract for construction services for S.A.P. 199-109-02 - Bridge No. 02569 to URS in the amount of $119,927.00. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Galnec, Councih'nembers Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT 1 ) Commercial Development in Town Center Councilmember Cook cmmnented he has received several things in the 1nail stating there is more residential development in Town Center currently happening than commercial development. He would like to state the Town Center items approved tonight were all commercial. 2) Business Tour Councilmcmber Pearson noted the Business Tour will be tOlllorrow, beginning at 1:00 p.ITL at City Hall. 3) Council Worksession Assistant City Administrator Nelson indicated there will not be a Council worksession held next week due to the length of the Public Works Committee meeting planned.
