ORDINANCE #04- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOIC4 COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KiNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAN'D CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.11 (PERFORMANCE STANDARDS) TO ADD <br />SECTION' 9.11.03 (MODEL .HOMES, TEMPOILARY REAL ESTATE OFFICES, AND <br />CONSTRUCTIOn' TtL~tLERS/FtELD OFFICES) TO THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />9,11 (Performance Standards) shall be amended to include the following section: <br /> <br />9.11,03 MODEL HOMES, TEMPOIL'4_RY REAL ESTATE OFFICES,: AND <br /> CONSTRUCTION TRAILERS/FIELD OFFICES <br /> <br />Subd. 1, Definitions <br /> <br />Subd', 2. <br /> <br />Model Home - A dwelling in a developing subdivision, located on a legal lot of <br />record, that is limited to temporary use as a sales office for the subdivision and to <br />provide an example of the dwellings which have been built or which are proposed to <br />be built within the same subdivision. <br /> <br />Temporary Real Estate Office - A structure with or xvithout a foundation or <br />footings, ~tsed only as a temporary real estate office, which ~s open to the general <br />public. <br /> <br />Construction Equipment Trailer/Field Office - A mobile trailer or structure used <br />for equipment storage or as a field of Sce for contractors and sub-contractors, which <br />is not open to the general public. <br /> <br />This section allows ~:br the provision of model homes, temporary real estate of Sces, <br />and temporary construction trailers/field offices in new subdivisions or commercial <br />properties without adversely aI'£ecting the character of sma'ounding residential <br />neighborhoods and properties or creating a general nuisance. As these uses represent <br />a cm[que temporary commercial use, special consideration must be given to the <br />peculiar problems 3ssociated wi*~h tl~em and specia~ standards must be applied to <br />ensure reasonable compatibility with their surrounciing envirom~xent. All model <br />homes, temporary real estate or, cos and construct/on trailers/field of+~ces must <br />comply with the following special requirements: <br /> <br /> <br />
