CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF <br />RIVER'S BEND 3RD ADDITION FROM B-1 BUSINESS TO R-1 URBAN <br />RESIDENTIAL AND MR MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL; <br /> CASE OF RAMSEY CENTER PARTNERSHIP AND ELIZABETH RAUDIO <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Elizabeth Raudio and Ramsey Center Partnership are in the process of platting River's Bend 3rd <br />Addition. The plat consists of approximately 22 acres located east of St. Francis Blvd., adjacent to <br />River's Bend. The property is currently zoned B-1 Business. The plat that has been submitted <br />proposes to develop 5 commercial lots adjacent to St. Francis Blvd., 27 single family lots adjacent <br />to River's Bend, and 5 12-unit apartment buildings in the northernmost portion of the plat. Single <br />family and multi-family development is not a permitted use in the B- 1 Business District and the <br />developers have applied for a rezoning accordingly. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Site plan <br />c) Proposed findings of fact <br />d) Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On August 23, 1991, the City of Ramsey received an application from Elizabeth Raudio and <br />Ramsey Center Partnership to rezone certain portions of the property in the proposed plat of <br />River's Bend 3rd Addition to MR Multiple Residential and R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that City Council adopt findings of fact # relating to a request from <br />Elizabeth Raudio and Ramscy Center Partnership to rezone certain property in the proposed <br />plat of River's Bend 3rd Addition to R-1 Urban Residential and MR Multiple Residential. <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that City Council approve/deny the request from Elizabeth Raudio and <br />Ramsey Center Partnership to rezone certain property in the proposed plat of River's Bend <br />3rd Addition to R-1 Urban Residential and MR Multiple Residential. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />P&Z: 9/16/91 <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder <br />City Engineer Jankowski <br /> <br /> <br />
