Elk~,Riv~ - Portables are restricted to 2 times per year for 13 days each time. There is a <br />permit arid fee of $35.00 required each time. There is also a $50 deposit required to insure <br />removal of the portable on time. <br /> <br />An0ka - The only temporary sign that requires a permit and fee in Anoka are the portables. <br />Portable;signs are restricted to 120 days per year. The fee is $10 per 30 day period. <br />HoWever, if the business owner can identify in advance all 120 days that the portable will <br />be display, ed, there is only one $10 charge. <br /> <br />Brooklyn Park - Portables and temporary signs are allowed a total of 30 days per calendar <br />year; the~minimum is increment is 10 days. Temporary signs are restricted to 100 square <br />feet, Th~ fee is $2.00 per day. <br /> <br />Roseville - Special event temporary signs are restricted to one 2 week period per year. A <br />permit arid $15.50 fee are required. All other temporary signs are restricted 2 times per <br />year for 3,0 day increments with a 90 day minimum time period between permits. A permit <br />and fee of $15.50 are required. Incidentally, portables are absolutely prohibited. <br /> <br />Blaine - Temporary signs are restricted to 8 weeks/year. A permit and $25 fee are required. <br /> <br />Andover~- Temporary signs are restricted to 30 days per year. The total number of <br />temporary signs on a parcel cannot exceed 3 at any one time; the total square footage for <br />temporary signs cannot exceed 32 at any one time. Incidentally, the portable reader board <br />signs arei considered permanent signs in Andover and allowed to be displayed on the <br />property ~year around; the square footage counts toward the total allowable signage <br />permitted~ on a property. <br /> <br />How do other cities regulate exterior wall banners advertising special prices and sales, on <br />liquor stores for instance. <br /> <br />Coon RaPids - Wall banners are permitted with a temporary sign permit. See Item (9) for <br />temporary sign regulations. <br /> <br />Bloomington - Wall banners are permitted with a temporary sign permit. See Item (9) for <br />temporary sign regulations. <br /> <br />Elk Riveri- Wall banners are permitted without permit or fee but they do count towards the <br />total allowable permanent sign area that is permitted at a business. <br /> <br />Anoka - Wall banners are permitted without permit or fee but they do count towards the <br />total allowable permanent sign area that is permitted at a business <br /> <br />BroOklyn?ark - Banners are permitted with a temporary sign permit.
