Steve Schmidt, applicant, stated he does not have any problems or suggestions. He would like to point out the facility has been referred to as mini: ~torage, however, some of the buildings will be capable of holding Class A RV's and boats. This will not be the typical storage facility. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Resolution #04-11-336A to grant preliminary plat apPrOVal of Regency Pond 4th Addition contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated July 30, 2004, revised October 7, 2004, revised November 4, 2004. Motion carried. Voting Yes: MayOr GameC, Councilmembers Elvig, Pearson, Cook, Kurak, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. Case #5: Request for Site Plan Review of CNP Storage; Case of TSM Development, Inc. Associate Planner Geisler indicated the site plan:submitted by TSM Development proposes to construct a 19,440-, 15,200-, 10,200-, and a 15,600-square-foot storage building on Outlot A of Regency Pond. The proposed development is located in the E-1 Employment District; mini- storage facilities are a permitted use in this district. The Board of Adjustment heard the two variance cases last week, one for the bufferyardi width requirements and one for the setback requirement to the cul-de-sac on 148th Avenue NW. The Board made the recommendation that the fence be moved in to accommodate trees on the outside of the fence. Staff also recommends a few additional shrubs on the Ramsey Boulevard frontage, and in addition to moving in the fence, including several trees on the eastern side: of the site plan. The Planning Commission recommended approval at the July t 2th meeting. Staff is recommending approval of the site plan in compliance with the City Staff Review Letter. Councilmember Strommen asked if the recommendation of the Planning Commission was to include some taller trees on the inside of the fence; and some other plantings on the outside of the fence. Associate Planner Geisler explained the Planning Commission was referring to moving the trees on the north to the outside of the fence. Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to grant approval of the proposed site plan contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated June 25, 2004, revised July 9, 2004, revised October 7, 2004, revised November 4, 2004, and approval of the request for preliminary plat.
