CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2004, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Human Resources Manager Giovanni Reed <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Kurak to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Terry Hcndriksen, 15631 Ramsey Boulevard, stated the bad thing about election time is that a lot <br />of signs pop up in yards, but sometimes the good thing is that things leak out. He stated about 20 <br />years ago lac was sitting on the Planning Commission and had the shock of turning around and <br />seeing the transportation map that literally contained a freeway going through his house. That <br />was the kind of shock he received over the last week. He went to City Hall to find out how much <br />of it was true and was shown a feasibility study for running sewer and water in the City of <br />Ramsey. The map he was presented with shows six or eight properties that are listed as <br />petitioning properties. He stated his first question is if there are properties in the northern part of <br /> <br />City Council/October 12, 2004 <br /> Page 3 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
