EDA Projects:

Douglas and Gary Hanson (Bakestar Property): Nothing to report, besides the fact that there is
interest in developing this site by a machine shop.

Miscellaneous:

NAIOP: NAIOP was sympathetic to Ramsey's situation related to incorrect information
contained in the recently published NAIOP Study. To help the City remediate this error
NAIO? sent Ramsey the labels of the organization's members. City Staff worked with
Countryside Printing to design a 5x7 correction postcard. The postcard states that the City
provided inaccurate information to NAIOP related to the building permit fee and the
correct building permit fee was stated. The postcards will be brought to the post office by
Friday, December 3, 2004.

MN Report: The City participated in the recently published 2004 Minnesota Report.
Staff will bring a few copies to the EDA meeting for members to look through.

2005 Budget: Attached to the update is a copy of the proposed 2005 EDA Budget. It is
anticipated that the City Council will approve the EDA budget on January 11, 2005 (the
general budget is anticipated to be adopted at the December 14, 2004 Council meeting).
A 2004 year end report will not be available until mid January.

EDA Re-appointments: Congratulations to Chris Riley, Keith Kiefer, and Jim Steffen
for being reappointed to the EDA.
