Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #17-11-294 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE LELS CAPTAIN 2018 CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS, the Police Captains are now represented by Law Enforcement Labor <br />Services (LELS); and <br />WHEREAS, the City has reached a tentative agreement with LELS-Captains on <br />all articles within the contract; and <br />WHEREAS Staff recommends approving the one-year contract, effective <br />January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will administer the 2018 contract as documented in the <br />Agreement Between the City of Ramsey and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. <br />(Local 408) Licensed Captains — January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #17-11-294, to settle the one-year labor agreement with the <br />LELS-Captains group. <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 28th day of November 2017. <br />
