2) Planning and Zoning Commission special meeting minutes dated September 14, <br /> 1988. <br /> <br />3) Planning and Zoning Commission special meeting minutes dated September 19, <br /> 1988. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ~1 Review sketch plan for Mr. Wally Anderson's proposed subdivision <br /> with respect to park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to deny <br />that portion of land offered by Dick Carson, Wally Anderson, and Good Value <br />Homes to satisfy the City's park dedication for the three proposed subdivisions <br />because a portion of the subject property is wetland. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Lichter, Commissioners Shumway, L okker, <br />Johnson and Prall. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hetland and <br />Rustad. <br /> <br />Case #2 Review sketch plan for North Fork. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue until the November <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Case ~ Revie.w_preliminary plat of Art Bulow for park dedication <br /> <br />Merland Otto stated that Mr. Bulow is proposing a subdivision of the property <br />located south of Hwy. #i0 N.W. and east of the proposed extension of Sunfish <br />Lake Blvd. N.W. The two lots on the northern portion of the plat are lots of <br />record and three new lots are included in the plato The south lots (along the <br />Mississippi River) will be single family residential. <br /> <br />Merland Otto recommended acquiring property for the Mississippi River multi-use <br />trail to satisfy the City's park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Prall to recommend <br />that the City acquire a 35 foot easement through the Bulow mini subdivision to <br />satisfy park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Lichter, Commissioners Shumway, Lokker, <br />Johnson and Prall. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hetland and <br />Rustad. <br /> <br />Case ~4 Review plat of Riverview Estates for park dedication <br /> <br />Merland Otto stated that in regards to the plat of Riverview Estates he is <br />recommending that the Park and Recreation Commission require a 35 foot easement <br />along the length of the property for the future Mississippi River multi-use <br />trail system. <br /> <br />Randy and Todd Elofson stated that a 35 foot easement in combonation with the <br /> Park and Recreation Commission/October 20, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
