Tom Thumb (Ramsey Boulevard) <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated that the City received a request to expand the MUSA north of <br />C.R. #116 to include the Tom Thumb property. The Planning Commission recommended <br />approving the change unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt <br />Resolution #02-02-066 approving an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to expand the <br />Metropolitan Urban Service Area Line and authorize staff to submit the Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment to the Met Council (Tom Thumb Commercial Comer). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Votiug Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Richard and Linda Nelson <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated that the City received a request to expand the MUSA to <br />include Lot 11, Pineview Estates 2nd Addition. The Planning Commission recommended the <br />change unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired as to what the land use designation would be. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon replied low density residential. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if staffhas looked at rezoning the entire Pineview Estates. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon replied no, explaining the requests came in independently. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adopt Resolution #02-02- <br />067 approving an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to expand the Metropolitan Urban <br />Service Area Line and authorizing staff to submit the Comprehensive Plan amendment to the <br />Met Council (Lot 9, Pineview Estates 2nd Addition). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, and <br />Kurak.
