RECREATION OPEN SPACE <br /> <br />The information in this section is based on the Metropolitan Recreation Open <br />Space Development Guide/Policy Plan adopted by the Metropolitan Council in <br />December of 1974. This Policy Plan is available as a guide as the City of <br />Ramsey develops the Parks and Open Space component of its comprehensive plan.. <br /> <br />Metropolitan Facilities <br /> <br />'There are no existing or proposed ~etropolltan p~k facilitlels located within <br /> <br />Regional Trails <br /> <br />The Regional Recreation Open Space System Plan map indicates that part of the <br />Regional Trail System will be located in the Oity of Ramsey. When the Regional <br />Recreation Open Space System Plan was adopted in December, 1974, the trail <br />plan was adopted in "concept" only and is subject to change. The Metropolitan <br />Parks and Open Space Commission has appointed a task force to revise the trail <br />plan and report back to the Commission in the fall of 1976. A copy of this "new <br />plan" will be made available when it is adopted, and we will outline any por- <br />tions of that plan that may affect the · iCity of Ramsey. <br /> <br />28 <br /> <br /> <br />
