Its service area would be part <br />of sectors l, 2, 3 and 9 as identified on page 16 in the Rec- <br />reation Open Space Policy Plan. <br /> <br />Information is not available at this time. In reviewing Anoka <br />Gounty"s Master Plan for regional parks the Council requested <br />that capacity information be provided as an amendment. We <br />expect this Information in the near future. <br /> <br />Property acquisition and development is planned according <br />to the Council's adopted Capital Improvement Program, when <br />funds are available. <br /> <br />Anoka County has completed a master plan for this park which <br />has been reviewed and approved by the Metropolitan Council. <br />This master plan should be consulted to determine the proposed <br />locations of activities, access points, parking, buildings, etc. <br />planned for the park. <br /> <br />Andover should be aware that the master plan makes no pro- <br />visions for local or neighborhood recreation facilities to be <br />located In the park. Therefore, the city should not plan to <br />rely on the regional park to help meet local playground needs. <br /> <br />The primary responsibility for policing and protecting the park <br />property lies with Anoka County, unle¢:s other arrangements <br />have been made between the City of ~ and the county. <br /> <br /> <br />
