Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Police Chief Gustafson stated that Jeffrey Toilette, Thomas Anderson, and Gale Weishalla, <br />known as Fairways on the Rum, Inc. d.b.a. McDuff's Eatery & Pub, have properly applied for an <br />on~sale and Sunday intoxicating liquor license at 16659 St. Francis Boulevard NW, Ramsey. <br />This is the current site of McDuff's Eatery & Pub. It was not a request for a new business, it is <br />the sale of a current business. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired if a new license would be issued. <br /> <br />Police Chief Gustafson replied that the ownership would be transferred, but all new applicants <br />have to apply for the license and all owners would have to go through background checks and <br />show they are eligible. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired if all liquor licenses were renewed at the same time. <br /> <br />Police Chief Gustafson replied yes, noting that they all renew in July. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to approve an on- <br />sale and Sunday intoxicating liquor license application for Fairways on the Rum, Inc., d/b/a <br />McDuff's Eatery & Pub. <br /> <br />City Council/March 26, 2002 <br /> Page 6 of 25 <br /> <br /> <br />
