Mr. Albert stated he would object and thought 152nd should be <br />next to city hall. <br /> <br />Building official Berg stated before the preliminary plat stage, this <br />issue should go to the city coul¢il first to iron out past actions <br />regarding 152nd before proceeding with the preliminary plat. <br /> <br />Motl.on by Ronald West an~ seconded by Kem%eth Peterson, that theMarx <br />addition sketch plan go to the city council without any recommendations <br />until the matter of 152nd or access to the property has been cleared <br />up and the sketch plan be returned to the P&Z Commission for reviewal <br />and recommendation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Kenneth Peterson, Benjamin <br />Deemer, Arthur Dunn, Gerald Zimme~an and Ronald West. voting <br />no: None. <br /> <br />5) Metro Council Propsed~Am:endments to the 1980-1981 <br /> Local Planning Assistance Grants <br /> <br />Eenneth Peterson stated the Metro Council Proposed Ameodments to the <br />1980-81 Local Planning Assistance Grants regarding Item IX, have <br />already given us an extension provision. <br /> <br />Arthur Dunn stated the problem with teh Metro Council is that they <br />put down in an anaxious fashion and interpret differently later. <br />Anything that could be considered not in the best interest of <br />local government should be opDosed. <br /> <br /> 6) Metro Council Guidelines for Reviewing Local Government <br /> Comprehensive Plan Amendments. <br /> <br />The P&Z Commission noted receipt of the recently adopted Metropolitan <br />Council Guidelines for Reviewing Local Government Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendments. ~ <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec was present and discussed with~e Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and explained to the commission the Council discussion <br />regarding water and sewer at the last Council meeting. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Benjamin Deemer stated the county is proposing a juvenile detention <br />center and no site has been selected at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec discu'ssed the recodification of ordinances and the P&Z <br />involvement in the ~roject. <br /> <br />Kenneth Peter-son discussed the reviewing of applications for the <br />Assistant Administration position. <br /> <br />P&Z/April 7, 1981 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
