COMPREHENSIVE P I_~NS <br />KLIST FOR SUBMrTTING <br /> <br />This brief tells what to include with your local comprehensive <br />plan when you submit it to the Metropolitan Council for review, <br />as' required by the Metropolitan Land Planning Act. All plans <br />must be submitted to the Council by July 1, 1980. <br /> <br />The brief also tells what will happen to your plan after'it is <br />submitted. A more detailed explanation of these procedures is <br />available in the Plan Review Procedures document adopted by the <br />Council in September 1978. (Copies of the document may be obtained <br />by calling the Council's Public Information office at 291-6464.) <br /> <br />WHAT TO SUBMIT <br /> <br />Seven copies of the comprehensive plan document, or documents, <br />including the land-use plan, public facilities plan and <br />implementation program. <br /> <br />Letter to Council Chairman Charles Weaver from the mayor, <br />county or town board chairman or other local official <br />(manager, administrator or clerk) requesting a formal <br />review of the comprehensive plan (see example ! on page 3). <br /> <br />Copies of any comments on the comprehensive plan received <br />from adjacent1 and affected2 jurisdictions. <br /> <br />For municipalities <br />and townships, from: <br /> <br />For counties, from: <br /> <br /> The county <br />~ Adjacent communities in <br /> the Metropolitan Area <br /> <br /> Affected school districts <br /> <br /> Adjacent counties in the <br /> Metropolitan.Area <br /> <br />~Municipatities and townships <br /> in the county <br /> <br /> Affected school districts in <br /> ithe county ' i ,, <br /> <br />1Adjacent means other communities or counties whose boundaries <br /> touch yours, including at the corner and along rivers. <br /> <br />2Affected school districts are those lying either wholly <br /> or partially within your community or County. · <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
