Certifications (preferably by resolution) that the plan <br />document(s) submitted for review has(have) been: <br /> <br />~Reviewed and adopted by the .planning commission. <br /> <br /> Considered and accepted by, but not adopted by, the <br /> local governing body. <br /> <br />Submitted to adjacent and affected communities and <br />~schooi districts (and in the case of municipalities <br />and townships to the county) for review and comment <br />at least six months prior to the submission to the <br />Metropolitan Council for formal review. <br /> <br />Submitted to adjacent and affected communities and <br />school districts (land in the case of municipalities <br />and townships to the county) when and as submitted <br />to the Metropolitan Council for formal review. <br /> <br />See example 2 on page 4. <br /> <br />W~HAT HAPPENS AFTER SUBMISSION <br /> <br />Within five days of receiving plans for formal review, the Chairman <br />of the Council will determine if the certifications described above <br />have been submitted. The submitting governmental unit will be <br />informed of any missing certifications. Commencement of the review <br />will be delayed until all the necessary certifications have been <br />submitted. The 120-day review period for plans established by the <br />Land Planning Act will not begin until the certification require- <br />ments have been satisfied. <br /> <br />Any questions about the materials summarized in this checklist <br />may be directed to Robert Mazanec of the Council staff at 291-6330. <br /> <br /> <br />
