RESOLUTION NO. 47 <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br />County of Anoka <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPLYING FOR METROPOLITAN LAND PLANNING ACT <br />GRANT MONIES BASED ON PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br /> E~EREAS, the Minnesota Legislature enacted the <br />Metropolitan Land Planning Act, Section 473.851-473.872 <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has prepared a <br />Comprehensive Planning Program to react to the Metropolitan <br />Land Planning Act and, <br /> <br /> )~EREAS, the cost of this activity is somewhat <br />financed by Planning Assistance Grants funded by Minnesota <br />Laws 1976, Chapter 167 and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has accepted their <br />final systems statement with conditions as noted in their <br />July 26, 1977 letter to Mr. John Boland, Chairman, of the <br />Metropolitan Council and, <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, this application is being made after the <br />initial deadline but prior to the 30-day grace period, <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey hereby makes application for the $4,096 <br />allotment to the ~ty as determined by the application, award <br />and disbursement guidelines adopted April 28, 1977 by the <br />Metropolitan Council, <br /> <br /> FURTHERMORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey requests the Metropolitan Council to initiate <br />legislation to further fund these planning activities to help <br />defray the costs of planning. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council this 24th day of October 1977. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
