Mayor Gamec said one way or another it is going to land in the City's lap~ <br />so he suggested doing it an~ getting it over with. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann instructing <br />City Attorney Goodrich to contact the City of Anoka asking that discussions <br />start concerning transferring over the deed as specified in the contract <br />whO. ch was entered into in 1976. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reims_tm, <br />~ckelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />10. Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />The City Council noted the letter dated September 23, 1980 from the Metro <br />Council requesting complete details of why the City is requesting an ex- <br />tension of time and the City of Ramsey's Resolution #80-78 which requested <br />the extension of time. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Janitorial Service at R~m~ey Municipal Center <br /> <br />Two janitorial services have submitted their price quotes to the City and <br />City Administrator Schnelle thought it might just be a better way for the <br />City to go as they are losing the high school student they now have. Council- <br />man Co~ suggested City Staff contact Mr. Bill Orvis regarding this also. <br /> <br />2. Application to Clean Ponds; Case of Mr. Ken Daley, 5100 - 177th Avenue <br />N.W. and Mr. Jim Hauft, 5160'- 177th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann authorizing the <br />City ASministrator or Mayor to sign the application allowing the e~cavation <br />of the ponds trader DNR supervision. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />]¢Jckelson and Cox. Voting no-None, <br /> <br />Comncilman Cox said it should be noted that the municipality will not assume <br />any liability that may be created by this approval. <br /> <br />3. Site Plan for Ralph's Coomtry Meats Request for Approval <br /> <br />Mr. Menkveld said the only item he had a problem with was Item #3 of the <br />Agreement to Plat which states the developer will not convey to Ralph Nissen <br />that certain parcel as shown on the 8/15/80 site plan described herein mntil <br />the final plat of the entire parcel has been completed and filed for record. <br /> <br />Brent Nelson with Volp Construction, who has been instructed to do the lay- <br />out for Ralph's Comntry Meats commented in regards to the Agreement to <br />Guarantee Compliance with Development Conditions Established by the City of <br />Ramsey. He said items #1 tb_ru #4 were okay.
