Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann instructing City Attorney Goodrich to contact the City of Anoka asking that discussions start concerning transferring over the deed as specified in the contract whO. ch was entered into in 1976. Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reims_tm, ~ckelson and Cox. Voting no-None. 10. Comprehensive Plan The City Council noted the letter dated September 23, 1980 from the Metro Council requesting complete details of why the City is requesting an ex- tension of time and the City of Ramsey's Resolution #80-78 which requested the extension of time. COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS 1. Janitorial Service at R~m~ey Municipal Center Two janitorial services have submitted their price quotes to the City and City Administrator Schnelle thought it might just be a better way for the City to go as they are losing the high school student they now have. Council- man Co~ suggested City Staff contact Mr. Bill Orvis regarding this also. 2. Application to Clean Ponds; Case of Mr. Ken Daley, 5100 - 177th Avenue N.W. and Mr. Jim Hauft, 5160'- 177th Avenue N.W. Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann authorizing the City ASministrator or Mayor to sign the application allowing the e~cavation of the ponds trader DNR supervision. Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, ]¢Jckelson and Cox. Voting no-None, Comncilman Cox said it should be noted that the municipality will not assume any liability that may be created by this approval. 3. Site Plan for Ralph's Coomtry Meats Request for Approval Mr. Menkveld said the only item he had a problem with was Item #3 of the Agreement to Plat which states the developer will not convey to Ralph Nissen that certain parcel as shown on the 8/15/80 site plan described herein mntil the final plat of the entire parcel has been completed and filed for record. Brent Nelson with Volp Construction, who has been instructed to do the lay- out for Ralph's Comntry Meats commented in regards to the Agreement to Guarantee Compliance with Development Conditions Established by the City of Ramsey. He said items #1 tb_ru #4 were okay. In regards to Item #5, the City has listed the conditions in addition to what they have shown on the plan. C/October 14, 1980 Page 7
