Principal Planner Trudgeon introduced
City consultant Len Levine. Mr. Levine gave a PowerPoint presentation to the Task
Force on his visit to several mixed-use developments in California: Old Ehn Village
near Petaluma, Aggie Village near Davis, Laguna West near Sacremento, Bay
Meadows near San Mateo, and The Crossings near Mountain View. Chair Hunter suggested the Task Force consider
thc possibility of including skyways in the project. Mr. Levine discussed the
underground tunnel system in downtown St. Paul, as well as emerging technology in
the area of GPS and transit scheduling.

Principal Planner Trudgeon asked Mr. Levine about the current climate for
transportation projects in the state. Mr. Leveine suggested that while the current fiscal
situation was very difficult, there was considerable interest in the Northstar project.

2)

Ramsey Town Center LLC Update. Principal Planner Trudgeon presented the latest
concept plan from Ramsey Town Center LLC, which identifies some preliminary
land uses.
