Thc Task Force asked about the impact of changing the street name to existing <br />residents and businesses along 116. Mr. Norman responded that the City has changed <br />street names before, and while it does impact property owners, the City has <br />traditionally given enough lead time before the name change takes permanent effect. <br /> <br />The Task Force also discussed how 116 will be affected by the future bridge and <br />indicated that they would like to see the 116 corridor study to take a look at how 116 <br />will continue past Armstrong Blvd. <br /> <br />Steve Sis made the motion to recormnend to the City Council to officially change the <br />name of County Road 116 (Industry Ave.) to Bunker Lake Blvd. in the limits of <br />Ralnsey. Mary Jo Olson seconded. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Town Center Zoning District (cont.) Loren Gordon continued discussing the <br />revisions to the zoning districts. Mr. Gordon reviewed the changes to the parking <br />standards. Mr. Gordon pointed out that most importantly, language for parking <br />requirement now require a parking study be included as part of the design submittal. <br />It is felt that a parking plan designed specifically for the Town Center will be more <br />efficient that trying to tailor standards for uses that are unlmown at this time. The <br />Task Force stated that they would like to see language included that will discourage <br />or prohibit large-lot parking lots within the Town Center. <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon next reviewed the proposed review process for developing the Town <br />Center. Mr. Gordon indicated that there will be three levels of review; a Master <br />Sketch Plan, a preliminary plat and site plan process, and a final plat and site plan <br />process. The Task Force talked about how the Task Force would be involved in the <br />review process. Mr. Gordon indicated that the code anticipates the Task Force or a <br />more permanent commission to be involved in the review process. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Patrick Tmdgeon indicated that Mr. Gordon will make the changes <br />and t~y to pursue reviewing the draft with the Planning Cmmnission at its April <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
