Counc i lmemb er <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND APPROVING <br />SALE OF SAID EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has upgraded its data processing <br />equipment and as a result of the upgrading no longer has a need for a Texas <br />Instruments WDg00 disk drive and a Texas Instruments MT3200 streaming tape <br />drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Champlin has expressed an interest in purchasing <br />said disk drive and tape drive for a sum of $8,625.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI%"f COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That a Texas Instruments WD900 disk drive and Texas Instruments <br />MT3200 streaming tape drive are hereby declared surplus and the salvage value <br />of said equipment is estimated at $8,625.00. <br /> <br /> 2) Further, that the City Council hereby approves the sale of the <br />aforementioned surplus equipment to the City of Champlin at salvage value. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 29th day of November, 1988. <br /> <br /> <br />
