CASE ~13: <br /> <br /> FRONT STREET N.W. EASEMENT <br />PAYMENT TO MR. DENNIS HOLHQUIST <br />By: Bil! Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Holmquist are the owners of parcel 130 relating to the <br />City's Front Street N.W. street improvement project, City Projects #87-18 and <br />#87-25. The parcel the City seeks to acquire is 6,600 square feet and, based <br />on the payment rate of $25,000/acre for land acquisition, the payment should be <br />$3,800. We have previously commenced a condemnation action for this parcel. <br />The property owner has now accepted our $3,800 offer and it is therefore <br />necessary for the Council to authorize payment. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information is a survey showing the 6,600 square foot parcel <br />in question. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Act ion: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Authorize payment of $3,800 to Dennis C.
