Charles R. Weaver served as an Independent-Republican <br />member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1967 <br />to 1975. He served as Chief Author of the Fiscal <br />Disparities Law and Metropolitan State University Enabling <br />Law in 1971. He served as a member of the Metropolitan <br />Council from 1975 to 1979 and as Chairman from 1979 to <br />1982. He has made numerous.presentations on fiscal <br />disparities and published a paper on Land Use Planning in <br />the United States. In addition, he has been a member of <br />the Board of the Business Economics Education Foundation <br />since 1983, and general counsel of the Regional Transit <br />Board. Mr. Weaver is currently lead legislative counsel <br />to Anoka/Hennepin School District, Anoka County, and the <br />Anoka County Chamber. He serves as a member of the Board <br />of Directors of the Anoka County Economic Development <br />Partnership. His years of service in public office and as <br />an attorney in the State of Minnesota provide him with a <br />breadth of experience and knowledge in the field of <br />governmental relations and public finance. <br /> <br />Wendell A. Anderson served St. Paul in both the Minnesota <br />House of Representatives and Senate from 1959 to 1971. <br />Mr. Anderson's interest in health and human services <br />issues continued during his service as Governor of <br />Minnesota from 1971 to 1977. He served Minnesota in the <br />United States Senate from 1977 to 1979 when he joined <br />LHD&L. Mr. Anderson's involvement in the political <br />process has continued in his representation of Minnesota <br />Broadcasters Association, C.V.N., Inc., Fingerhut, <br />Lutheran Brotherhood and U.S.S. Broadcasting, !nc., in the <br />State Legislature and before Congress. <br /> <br />Richard A. Forschler has been a member of the Firm in the <br />Governmental Relations Department for ten years. <br />Mr. Forsch!er was a research assistant wi~h the Minnesota <br />Sena-_e Tax Committee during the 1973 and 1974 Legis!aHive <br />Sessions He cained federal ~ec~!ative experience while <br />at%ending Georgetown Un!versisy Law Center in Washington, <br />D.C. from 1974 5o 1977. Mr. Forsch!er works exclusively <br />wish governmental bodies as a member of the Governmental <br />Relations DePartment. His legislative experience includes <br />representation of Hea!thOne, Me~ropoiitan Medical CenHer, <br />the !{innesota Consumer Finance Conference, Motion Picture <br />Association, and the Nicollet Mall Implementation Board. <br /> <br />Gerald L. Seck has been with the Firm since 1984 as a <br />full-time !obbyis~. He lobbies on behalf of Browning- <br />Perris Industries, Vinland National Center, and the <br />~inneso%a Glass Associasion. His experience includes ten <br />years of !obSving at the Minnesota Le~islasure. Prior %o <br />joinLng the Firm, Er. Seck was %he managing par%net of a <br />!aw f±rm in Bemidji, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> <br />
