THE TEAM. <br /> <br />The Firm has considerable experience representing clients <br />before the Minnesota Legislature and State Agencies. Members <br />of the Governmental Relations Department take the lead role in <br />legislative matters. Seven attorneys are at the Capitol full- <br />time and several others part-time during the legislative <br />session. During the interim, members of the Department <br />continually work with legislative committees and staff. <br /> <br />A. Governmental Relations DePartment Attorneys <br /> <br />The Chairman of %he Governmental Relations Department is <br />James C. Erickson. He has 15 years of experience at the <br />Minnesona Legislature, as well as before state, regional, <br />and local councils and administrative agencies, in his <br />work at the Minnesota Legislature, Mr. Erickson has <br />specialized in taking lead respons~h~l~.- for ~ <br /> ...... y ~e ~eam- <br />wide representation of significant clients. His role <br />involves coordinating the activities of other Larkin, <br />Hoffman lawyers in a team approach to major projects. His <br />legislative clients include Citicorp, Minnesota Cable <br />Communications Association, Browning-Ferris Industries and <br />Triple Five Corporation. He has been involved in many <br />important legislative issues in the past !0 years, most <br />commonly as principal legislative counsel to these clients <br />and broader coalitions. Prior to joining Larkin, Hoffman, <br />Da!y & Lindgren, Ltd., he served in the Attorney General's <br />Office. .._~:~.
