CA.SE ~ 19: <br /> <br />SCHEDULE A SPECIAL MEETING TO DISCUSS MUSA BOUNDARY REVISIONS <br /> AND ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> By= City Administrator David Hartley <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />City Staff has been working on documentation which is required to submit a <br />request for an amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan to the Metro <br />Council. The specific request is to expand the MUSA boundary that affects <br />the City of Ramsey until the year 2000. Because of the importance of this <br />request and it's significance to the City of Ramsey, the City Council may <br />wish to schedule a joint meeting between the City Council and the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission, the Economic Development Commission and the Economic <br />Development Company. <br /> <br />Another issue that may be discussed at this joint meeting is the <br />establishment of an Economic Development Authority which may serve the <br />purpose for which the Economic Development Commission and the Economic <br />Development Company now serve. <br /> <br />Suggested dates for this special meeting are Wednesday, November 30'; <br />Thursday, December i; or Monday, December 5. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Schedule a special joint meeting with the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, Economic Development Commission and Economic Development <br />Company for , 1988 at p.m. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />At t orney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
