Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing to Introduce Changes to the Recreational Vehicles Ordinance <br />(Continuation from May 14, 2002) <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Police Sergeant Way explained that he was asked to review the snowmobile ordinance due to the <br />number of complaints the Council and Police Department had been receiving. He stated he <br />reviewed it and other city's ordinances and made recommendations on revisions. He stated he <br />also included recreational vehicles, not just snowmobiles, since complaints are also received <br />about them. Police Sergeant Way reviewed the changes including the designated area where <br />these vehicles can no longer be used without written permission from the property owner or if on <br />your own property. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that Council introduce the ordinance that is rewritten and renamed <br />Recreational Vehicle Ordinance and further restricts the use of recreational vehicles in the City <br />of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:15 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Joseph Roberts, Jr., 18020 Uranium Street NW, stated he is disturbed that the ordinance will <br />apply from 159th Avenue south.
