Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon <br />Associate Planner Megan Wald <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the work session of the City Council to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Case #1: Rental Ordinance (5/6/02) <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated this topic was discussed in May and copies of the Coon <br />Rapids and New Brighton ordinances were reviewed at that time. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik presented a matrix summarizing all the topics <br />contained within the Coon Rapids and New Brighton ordinances compared to the Ramsey <br />Housing Code. She noted this information shows that the Ramsey Housing Code is aimed more <br />at issues pertaining to public health and safety while the ordinances of Coon Rapids and New <br />Brighton also addresses condition of the property, general maintenance, and conduct of residents. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/July 23, 2002 <br /> Page 1 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
