O I ANCE #0S- <br /> cITy OF RAMSEY <br /> ANO A cOvNXv STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNO~ AS THE'ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE cITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.11 (PERFORMANCE STANDARDS) TO ADD <br />SECTION 9.11.03 (MODEL HOMES,~ TEMPORARY REAL ESTATE OFFICES, AND <br />CONSTRUCTION TRAILERS/FIELD OFFICES) TO THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />9.11 (Performance Standards) shall be amended to include the following section: <br /> <br />9.1 ! .03 <br /> <br />Subd. 1. <br /> <br />MODEL HOMES, TE~PORARY REAL ESTATE OFFICES, AND <br />CONSTRUCTION TRAIL ERS/FIELD OFFICES <br /> <br />Definitions. <br /> <br />Model Home - A dwelling in a deVeloping subdivision, located on a legal lot of <br />record, that is limited to temporary use as a sales office for the subdivision and to <br />provide an example of the d ,Wellings which have been built or which are proposed to <br />be built within the same Subdivision. <br /> <br />Temporary Real Estate Office - A structure with or without a foundation or <br />l~botings, used only as a tenlporary real estate office, which is open to the general <br />public. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. <br /> <br />Construction Equipment Trailer/Field Office - A mobile trailer or structure used <br />fbr equipment storage or as ~ field office for contractors and sub-contractors, which <br />is not open to the general public. <br /> <br />This section allows for the provision of model homes, temporary real estate offices, <br />and temporary construction trailers/field offices in new subdivisions or commercial <br />properties without adversely ,affecting the character of surrounding residential <br />neighborhoods and properties~ or creating a general nuisance. As these,uses represent <br />a unique temporary commerc!al use; special consideration must be given to the <br />peculiai' problems associated with them and special standards must be applied to <br />ensure reasonable compatibility with their surrounding environment. Alt model <br />homes, temporary real estate offices and construction trailers/field offices must <br />comply with the following special requirements: <br /> <br />a. All model homes and temporary real estate offices require a building permit. A <br /> <br /> <br />
